Grade 1–9
Arabic school subjects for Grades 1–6 and Grades 7–9. These groups stay on this page.
Grade 1–9 is the second Arabic education classification, with Quranic Memorization and Grade 10–12. It is not the same page as Lower Basic or Upper Basic on the English pathway.
Grades 1–6
الابتدائي
Ibtida'ee, Grade 1 to Grade 6. This is the official Gambia National Madrassa Board (GNMB) curriculum for Lower Basic. Grade 1–6 = 11 subjects. Focus on Quran, Arabic basics, Fiqh, Tawheed.

Grades 7–9
الإعدادي
I'dadi, Grade 7 to Grade 9, for Arabic schools in The Gambia. Grade 7–9 = 14 subjects. Add Balaghah, Adab, Usul. General Science and Agric Science are for the exam.
