Grade 10–12 is the third Arabic education classification, with Quranic Memorization and Grade 1–9.

Thanawi, Grade 10 to Grade 12, for Arabic schools in The Gambia. Grade 10–12 = 18 subjects. Add Mantiq, Arood, Advanced Tafsir / Hadith / Fiqh, and Science.

After Grade 12, students sit WASSCE and the Thanawiyya Certificate. The universities named for this path are University of The Gambia, International University of Africa, Al-Azhar, and Medina University.
